What car do you drive? Year-make- model-class-modifications - future plans for the car.
I drive a 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i in Modified AWD class. The interior is stripped with race seats and harnesses. We have a coil over suspension on the car. The motor is all stock, except for a fresh air intake.
How long have you been competing in RallyCross, or other motorsports/ sports?
I have been competing in RallyCross for a full year. I started a little before this time last year, however, I started racing circle track cars at the age of 13. I competed in circle track racing for 10+ years. I started racing in the four-cylinder stock car class and worked my way up through V8 super stock cars, eventually getting to run non-wing 360 sprint cars.
What are some things you enjoy doing outside of cars/ RallyCross?
I do a lot of SIM driving on dirt2.0. I love to travel and spend time with my family. I do a lot of trials riding and adventure riding with my motorcycles.
What is one personal motorsport highlight? RallyCross or otherwise. Similarly, do you have any negative moments?
I circle track raced all over Arizona and even competed at the Las Vegas half mile dirt speedway in a IMCA modified car. I also got to drive some asphalt NASCAR modified in Sacramento, California. I’ve had some really special moments over the years racing and competing. Winning 2 championships this year, with the Hot Summer Nights series and the overall 2024 Championship has been a really memorable accomplishment for me. What definitely made it super special for me is I got to share it with my wife in the co-driver seat.
Do you have anything else you would like to share with the group, and what plans and aspirations do you have for the future?
Growing up in circle track my aspirations were always to be a rally driver. For the time being we are enjoying racing RallyCross and the best racing community in the states. Arizona Rally Association has the best program that I’ve ever been a part of and I’m looking forward to more seasons to come.
