What car do you drive? Year-make- model-class-modifications - future plans for the car.
I drive a 2008 Honda Civic SI w/ Snow Tires in Stock FWD Class. Second gear is grinding in the car; therefore the future plans would be to change the transmission. We also need new snow tires.
How long have you been competing in RallyCross, or other motorsports/ sports?
I have been driving RallyCross on and off for approximately 5 years now.

What are some things you enjoy doing outside of cars/ RallyCross?
Outside of RallyCross I enjoy our family, especially family dinners. I like hiking, gardening (when I have time) and being involved with a women's fellowship group. I also like providing hospitality and meals for the family and crew when we travel to races out of state. When visiting new places, I love taking "walk-abouts", exploring the area and especially connecting with new people I meet along the way.
What is one personal motorsport highlight? RallyCross or otherwise. Similarly, do you have any negative moments?
My biggest highlights in racing are when the "light bulb" goes on in my brain when I finally understand and experience "racing jargon". I used to drive a Mazda Miata and one weekend the Miata was broken. My son Vincent said to me, "Drive the Honda, I'll teach you". I was so anxious driving a bigger car. Anyway, we were out on the track and made a left hand turn and Vince said to me, "this is weight transfer". I was like "Oh my gosh, I get it". One other time, when our club was doing a slalom skills session, I was driving the Miata, which is rear wheel drive. British Phil, who also drives a rear wheel drive, got in the driver seat, while I was a passenger. Again it was the experience of going through the slalom and Phil talking it through the motions that helped. After much practice, I was so excited when I finally got the hang of it...oh and my times improved. Yeah!
A negative experience happened when we were racing in Casa Grande. It was so scary driving the Mazda Miata on an extremely silty track. The dust was so insane with little visibility that I stopped driving for a while.
Do you have anything else you would like to share with the group, and what plans and aspirations do you have for the future?
The one thing I would like to share with the group: All you ladies out there, hop in a car and give it a drive. It's fun!
